Company History

Data Marketing (DMI), founded in 1976 by a former Stanford Research Institute researcher, specializes in discovering the most direct routes to not only your regular markets, but also your unrecognized and often unexplored opportunities, while making certain your message is received by those with greatest potential. Which is why it is fun to work here.
DMI creates and administers a broad spectrum of direct marketing campaigns throughout North America. We began by focusing on community fund raising for non-profit organizations and business development for financial institutions in Silicon Valley and California. Over the last two decades we have expanded our application of data analysis to encompass result driven direct marketing for utilities, government agencies, retail, and real estate organizations nationwide.
From strategic and creative inception to post-production analyses and planning, our philosophy is one of transforming data for sustainable and measureable results. We take charge of your complete campaign, managing graphic design, copywriting, print/personalization, delivery logistics, and all the details specific to a successful campaign. Our people stay with us for years even decades, because we all share a passion for our mission and our belief we should enjoy helping all our clients grow.
We began in the B2C market and very quickly expanded into B2B marketing for national and international organizations who want new strategies and products that keep them on the cutting edge of direct marketing.
DMI is certified as: Green Business, Small Business, WMBE.
